Hi Maggie
I'll cope because I know that time will pass and I'll just get through it. I promise this year that I will try try try to get into the Christmas spirit. I also have the added distraction of having to pack a house up to move in early January.
As for you - sounds like you have a lot on for the Christmas - anyone you can delegate to? It sounds like you are missing folk too - this must be a time when you do miss your son as well - I lost a brother around Christmas time 24 years ago so it's a time of year that is always tinged with sadness.
Anyway Maggie - we will get through because we always manage somehow. As for the rewards against the chores you could replace smoking with alcohol and chocolate just until january :)
Merry Christmas to you - i wish you much love and ease at this time.
All the best
Sharon

I will cope very well by sitting in the corner with a bottle of something and imagining all the relatives are in somebody elses house instead of mine. At least it's summer here and I can go and hide outside if it gets too much. smoking ??? NEVER !!!
Cheers
