Day 9 and coping with boredom

Kaitilina, Take advantage of all this time! Use it to try out new things and find new passions. This will keep you busy and help to replace that old habit with a new one. It's okay to miss them a little, everybody does once in awhile. This feeling will fade as you begin to become more comfortable in your quit. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Oh gf, so sorry you feel this way. Guess what! It DOES get better and you do stop fantasizing about smoking. You will have cravings every once in a great while but let me tell you, they are alot easier to deal with now than when I first started or even 2 months down the row. It is tough at times but always come here and know you have the support you need to get through each craving forever! We can do this together (just like we have been) and we will just have to become TSBS girlfriends forever (remember yesterdays conversation lol). Kaitilina ~ You're transitioning into your new life.... and doing great. It's wonderful that you talk to yourself... I did a lot of that. I would walk around like a lost puppy in the house, saying, "YEP, We don't smoke anymore, so go find something productive to do". My kids still laugh that I did that and I was pretty much like, "whatever gets you through the day". You can change your house around, put electronics in the kitchen and bedroom - no rules on this stuff, you're the boss and if it keep you quit, then do it. Be extra nice to yourself. What will your 2 week reward be? Time to start thinking about that, you got 10 days!!!! Excellent!
