I have a question: Is this going to be a sub-group on the board the same as "Coping with Cravings", or is it simply to identify the New Year quitters? I'm with Imallclear... I don't want anyone alienated. Guess I'm unsure as to the purpose.
All I wanna do is dance!

Marie,
Not doing too badly at all, struggles are becoming less frequent which is a major breakthrough.
I plan to stay quit, I am 007 all the way!

imallclear and Interesting,
I am sure the intent was not to alienate when Freedomforme came up with the idea.
However, the fact that you brought it up leads me to believe that this may be happening.
To avoid that and to be more all inclusive, maybe we can just look at the "club" as a way to affirm or re-affirm your determination to stay smoke-free in 2007 regardless of when you joined SSC.
What do you think? I believe we can be supportive of someone's idea (whatever it takes to help someone maintain their quit) while remaining sensitive to other's concerns.
Care to chime in Freedomforme?

kiwi, pretty neat, sounds purposeful, cool, and mysterious but maybe I am just saying that coz I'm a guy.
I am adopting it into my online nickname until we come up with the official one.

I quit one week before the new year started just for the reason that when people ask me "when did you quit smoking" I can honestly answer "last year!"
