Regular posting and quitting

for 18 år siden 0 45 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Ed, Just to add my 2 cents... I think that regular reading is more important to some than regular posting. As some may know, I used this site on my last quit which lasted over a year. I didn't really post alot, this time around either. I LOVE to read everyones posts, but I often feel like I have nothing more to add that has not already been said. And many of you are just much more articulate than I am. I honestly believe that one of the reasons I relapsed was because I stopped reading the site. I need to be reminded very often about the risks of thinking "just one". Anyway, I just think that regular reading is more important to a quit than regular posting. Best wishes August

Yup, I'm only here because I want to be; I don't need to be here any more and I haven't needed to be here for a long, long time - Smoking? What's that? There are very few people still posting who were here when I joined back in early 2004; Bubba, Katy, JohnW, Lizzie, Tresa, Melofga and the very special Connecticut Kid; they all know that I have had a completely up-beat, positive quit for over 2 years and that I have beaten this addiction (and some other addictions along the way) and that I am still here because I OWE and I owe big time. I owe Bubba, I owe Katy, I owe JohnW, I owe Tresa, I owe Lizzie, I owe Mel and I definitely owe my super quit-buddy luna! I want to give back to the new quitters who may be fearful of what's ahead. That's why my message is clear and that is why I will continue to proffer my experience, regardless. The quit is yours if you want it and it's degree of difficulty is entirely up to you! Be strong, be positive, be quit!!! Thanks Mr Ed, nice thread. Penitent d877
