For a fleeting moment

Sort of Phil. I did loose that house I really loved a while back but found another one very quickly. It's really lovely. I'm also really enjoying packing up my house - a lot of your life passes through your hands on it's way into the boxes and I'm reminded of many many stories and people. It's all good stuff. A real delight too though was when I chucked out my old ashtrays cos I'll never need them again :) All the best Sharon Belfast My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 86 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 864 Amount Saved: 231.34 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 6 Mins: 24 Seconds: 7

Hi Phil Gawd - I honestly daren't with you about!!! And anyway I wont because I don't want that life again. Makes me sad when I think of all that waste. Soo good to be here. Still though it's good for me to be honest about what I'm experiencing - the more aware I am the more able I am to continue. I feel like I've gone a step beyond my previous quit with the realisations I've had this weekend. How are you finding things on day 153!!! You'll be celebrating 6 months soon!!!! Hi guys I'm in the process of packing up my house for a move in 2 weeks time. At the weekend I was up to my eyes in packaging and cardboard and needed a break. I thought for a moment 'I'll have a coffee and a cigarette'and then I remembered I don't smoke. But I went on to think 'hmmm shall I?' and thankfully I didn't. I'm currently in my danger zone - well into my quit and feeling confident. Last time I was here I started again because I thought I could control my addiction and have just one or two - in a matter of weeks I was back at square 1. Anyway that fleeting craving was an important marker for me to stay super vigalent especially now - I want to publically recommitt to being smoke free and to remember that I am a nicotine addict and I can only control it by staying well away. Right then - thanks for the air time - good to state that for myself. Really looking forward to my new home - the very first one in my lifetime to be entirely smoke free - how groovy is that!!! You'll be able to keep yourself busy with the move for the next little while, so use this as a technique to help you push through :) We are glad you passed the test! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
