Rethink this quit of yours. Its important. Stop now before it becomes I week smoking, then 2...we all know where that leads. In the long run you'll be glad you did.
Smoking solves nothing, just makes things worse.

Julie, Julie, Julie. You know that I had a solid 11 year quit which I flushed down the toilet. The, I had 40 days recently and slipped again. Ol Nic knows just the right time to creep forth. But there is no right time to start any more than there is a right time to quit. Realize how good you felt about yourself when you were a non-smoker. You were a lot more free. You need to be free now and in the future to deal with these curve balls life loves to pitch. All this smoking is doing is eating up time, attention and life energy that you do not have to spare. Let's get back, applejack.

You can get back Julie!
You are quite clearly in a lot of distress hon... You have a great quit going and you are a winner! Stop smoking now.. it's never too late honey.
Things are piling up on you and everyone is different in how they handle the situation(s) however, as you can see in my own slip of 66 days quit in the relapse and slipping thread that I just didn't do what I should have done. I have so many people here who care about me, as they care about you -- come here FIRST and post. Also call a close friend and talk to them.
Life is so full of curve balls and it sounds like you've been hit square in the head sweetie. PLEASE throw out all cig's etc.. and don't smoke another one.
We're here for you ... Have faith in us and most importantly in yourself.

Julie
Isn't it amazing that after such a long time the nicodemon can rear its ugly head.
Think of all the times that you have said no to him over the last 646 days - an amazing length of time. You can still refuse him Julie - you've demonstrated that ability time and time again.
It sounds like you've got a lot to deal with right now. What other support mechanisms can you put in place to get you through these challenges - who can you ask to help out, cook you a meal, listen while you off load. What do you need to ask for - who can you ask??
With my very best wishes to you Julie. Get back on track and don't allow anything to be your excuse for starting smoking again.
All the best
Sharon

Every day, at any given moment, we have the the ability to make choices. We choose what we will do and how we will do it. You can choose to be a victum of circumstances and give in to the junkie addict that lives within you. OR You can choose to move forward without the enslavement of smoking being added to your list of woes.
The choice is yours. NOPE (Not One Puff Ever)
