It's really true, Riverdale, your chances of quitting are way better since you've found this site. I have learned so much from these grand quitters....they are the best. Don't worry too much about the physical symptoms. I'm no spring chicken and I promise you all of this will pass. Takes time and your body is healing. Chances are you've been smoking for many years. Congratulation Phillip. You are almost through hell week. It's the hardest week of a quit. It's not the experienced quitters that make the site, it's not the 'newbies', and it's not the moderators. Riverdale, Sounds like you are heading in the right direction on becoming a successful quitter. The most common questions when quitting smoking is dealing with withdrawal symptoms. Each smoker has different withdrawal symptoms indeed yours will be unique! Although they may be unpleasant, they do pass. When you experience withdrawal symptoms, remind yourself that each symptom is a sign of recovery. Your body is in the process of healing itself. Think of withdrawal symptoms as growing pains.
