Hi, Marie.
These feelings you're having are quite normal. I think part of it may be that when you were at the smoker's house you got whiffs and they reminded you to be strong in the face of temptation. At the non-smoker's house you didn't have that reminder. All you had was the knowledge, probably way down deep, that when it was over you wouldn't be able to smoke on the way home. So you started getting fidgity, antsy, just like you used to when you knew it would be a long time before you could finally light up.
Use whatever coping skills work for you, Marie. Deep breaths, ice water, candy, etc. Maybe some light exercise like jumping jacks to get your heart rate up a bit and make your brain release some endorphines.
This will pass. Just hang tight. Tomorrow's another day. :)
Keep up the good quit.
Shevie
