RDMan: You are such a wonderful person! Congratulations on your quit. That is something to be proud of. My husband and I made the decision to quit after an x-ray I had. Lots of tests followed...beginning of COPD/emphesema (not sure of that spelling---it just doesn't look right :confuse:) I was given an inhaler which I have not had to use at all, thank goodness, and since quitting feel so much better. I don't want to be one of those folks whose movement is restricted because of an O2 tank. I am only 46. That's my reward for my devotion to smoking for 34 years! Have a wonderful vacation with your mom. Even if she doesn't remember, comfort yourself with the knowledge that this time there won't be any smokey smells for her to endure (or comment on) :) God bless!

Phillip -
I celebrate this milestone with you. What a wonderful, emotional, bumpy ride we knights have had together - but we have persevered. We are winning this battle. You are an awesome man and have made a difference in so many people's lives here. Thanks...
I know that your mom will be able to tell a difference - you will not smell smokey anymore! Hallaulah for that!! Maybe a little like cholrine from the pool! Senior Masters National the next step?? I hope so.
Congrats again on a 7 months.
