Hi Nascar,
Congrats on 5 days! Fantastic! Hang in there and this crazy stuff will pass. My husband and I have been having to deal with each other's moods and my roller coaster craves too. Which by the way was pretty intense end of first week going into the second. Heck, we really didn't even talk to each other for a whole week! It hasn't been pretty but we are beginning to make the necessary adjustments and see the light at the end of the tunnel. My husband doesn't smoke so it is different from your situation. I imagine it must be really difficult at times when your husband is smoking and seems to be enjoying it. In the long run though, you know you are doing the best thing and that in time, it won't bother you. Maybe he'll quit too! And on the not much support thing, well I think on the weekends folks are busy with family and such and don't have much time to respond to posts. You know the folks here are ready to help at a moments notice. Try to remember this is your quit and don't let it slip for NOBODY! Hey, I had the smoking dream last night. Scared the dickens out of myself and remembered being really disappointed in my dream (safe way to find out how you will feel after a slip)! So you hang in there and just don't smoke! Like you said it isn't going to change a thing. So, go see a movie, plant a garden, go shopping or go for a girls night out. Hope the rest of your weekend is all downhill for you!
