Sorry Cuddles... this keeping track of people is hard work!!! It's a lot harder than it seems! May's coming up pretty quickly though, and you'll be a Centurian before you know it! You're doing great though... just wanted to let you know that! :) Well, it seems I'm gonna need to turn the beach over to someone here in a few weeks... Duffis started the beach, then when he created the 6-12 club, Alaskan Girl took over, passing the torch to Lady and Cheryl who passed it to N2k and Sweet Pea who passed it to me... and soon, it'll my turn to pass the torch. For me, reaching the beach was this amazing milestone... I remember the first time I hit the beach... WOW! I was so proud of myself! 100 days seems like such a long time, and when you're first starting out, you don't think that you're EVER going to get there! And then when you do, it's amazing!! And I know how great it is to hit that mark and I want "the beach" to be here for ALL newbies who hit the crucial 100 day mark. But it seems that lately, the beach hasn't been as active as it used to be. That makes me sad because it seems like there's not a lot here for the newbies to come to. So I say, before I hit 6 months and need to turn the beach over to someone, I really want to see a revitalization happen to this beach! But, I can't do it alone!!! Who will help me do that??????? Congratulations People! Making it to the beach was one of the highlight of my non-smoking journey. And I know that it is for you also. Enjoy the warm clean sand, and the cool fresh breazes. The sparkeling water and all the activities you can now do that you wouldn't do before. The more you do the sooner you heal and become a permenant fixture. At this point, acceptance is all that you need. Learn to use your new lifestyle, and to expand on the things that you do in this life. Learn something new every month. Then move on. Keep what makes you happy and discard the rest. Life is as long as you make it.
