Hang on Charlie girl, The calvary is on it's way. How long are you quit and what is your hurdle right now. Is it cravings or the stress with your hubby? Is it from lack of support? Stay where you are We'll all get you through this.redrosie

Charlie girl, think back to all the reasons why you quit in the first place. They are all still important right? Having a cig. will not make ANYTHING better and you know it. It is easy to use a fight or a loved ones seemingly lack of support as a reason to smoke again. DON'T DO IT. You will feel horrible and all your hard work will be for nothing. You need to unwind and relax. Take a bath, go for a walk(without money),stay here and post, whatever you need to do to avoid these stresses right now. You have done great, you need to be strong and keep this quit safe. FOR YOU!! redrosie

Perfectly normal Charlie Girl. For me it's peppermints. I always have them with me. Even now. Every now and then I find myself craving a peppermint! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 261 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,231 Amount Saved: $913.5 Life Gained: Days: 23 Hrs: 1 Mins: 10 Seconds: 48

Charlie girl. Take some deep breaths. Do something to get away from the arguments with hubby. Nothing is ever solved in an argument. Go take a bath, read a book, go for a walk, anything that will take your mind off the situations (both the arguing and the craving). Know that the craving will go away. You are stronger than the junkie thinking. It is easier to give in to the temptation to smoke than it is to fight for your life. Getting through the crave is the most important thing. Hubby can only push your buttons if you allow him to. I know...easy to say. Trust me I've been there. Take control of yourself. Replace that junkie thinking with possitive thoughts. You are now a non-smoker. Keep it that way and prove hubby wrong. Let us know how you are doing.
