today (tomorrow) when you check this thread, I want you to know how proud we are of you for hanging in here. quitting really sucks the first week or two. No doubt about it...it's tough. rmember that if you cave now, you will just have to repeat the beginning all over again.....what you want to do is NEVER repeat it! by holding on, you WILL get to safer ground....it becomes easier, and your feeling of confidence in yourself grows. YOU are now the one in control....I know it doesn't feel like that, but YOU are running the show by saying no to the addiction. Be sure to treat yourself to day.....treats/rewards are very important in quitting. you should work up a plan of rewards....then you focus on them and look forward to making it to them. It just helps a bit to have things to look forward to. have you worked through the online program to the left? It will give you suggestions and hints. and start yourself a quit journal....later when the craves have faded, you can read what you went through to get free of nicotine......that will help should you ever feel tempted to smoke the proverbial "just one" stick close to this site....post often....don't be afraid to ask for support, help and suggestions.....that's what this place is for Kick some butt today :) Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1480 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 59,235 Amount Saved: $8140 Life Gained: Days: 193 Hrs: 3 Mins: 53 Seconds: 59

little, Take this time to relax yourself and take a hot bubble bath and read a good book. This will relax you and cause you sleep to be better. Try anything that will relax you and take it easy tonight. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
