Suze,
Welcome to the Depression Center and thanks for sharing your story with us.
Please take the depression test to your family physician. By seeing it, he will be able to refer you to a mental health professional that can provide you with additional support & guidance throughout your journey.
Also be sure to start reading through our forums and working through your session diary.
We hope to be able to give you the support you've been looking for. If you have any questions, just ask.
Keep close.
Danielle

After looking at some posts and taking the depression test, I get the impression that my symptoms aren't quite as severe or persistent as many others' here. But I've been struggling with some sort of anxiety/depression the past few months. I am usually fine, but will occasionally (a couple times a week) feel anxious or just sad and sometimes have crying spells. These really low episodes usually last an hour or two, though I might continue to feel down for a day or two. I've been in therapy for a couple of months, which has been helpful, but I'd like to connect with others who may be struggling with some of the same things I am. Feeling alone in my troubling thoughts is one of the hardest things for me to deal with. And I don't like sharing my feelings too much with people in my life because I don't want them to worry too much. I'm excited to have found this site and hope to gain from and give a lot to you all.
