I just recently started taking Cymbalta and I have been having headaches also. One night, I was awakened from sleep it was so severe. However, they seem to be lessening as time goes on.
I go back for a follow-up with my doctor in a couple of weeks and will discuss with him if they are still occurring. However, the medication seems to be working for me so I'll weigh the pros vs. cons. By the way, Wellbutrin affected me the exact same way! I was so anxious, I had myself convinced I was going to lose my job (I didn't!).
Good luck on the Cymbalta. I am now on my 3rd day of the 60 mg. capsule and other than the headaches, am happy with the result.

I HAVE BEEN ON MANY DIFFERENT ANTIDEPRESSANTS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS SEEMS TO BE VERY EFFECTIVE IN A VERY SHORT TIME, BUT I HAVE HAD A HEADACHE SINCE TWO DAYS AFTER I STARTED IT, WHICH WAS SEVEN DAYS AGO. I WAS ON WELLBUTRIN SR AND IT WAS HELPFUL BUT WHEN I TOOK ENOUGH TO COMBAT THE DEPRESSION IT CREATED ANXIETY THAT MADE ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE, I HAD THESE ANXIOUS THOUGHTS ABOUT HOW LONG I HAD TO LIVE THAT WERE JUST AWFUL. MY DAUGHTER WORKS FOR LILLY AND TOLD ME ABOUT THIS MEDICATION. ANOTHER FEATURE OF IT IS THAT IT ADDRESSES THE PHYSICAL PAIN THAT ACCOMPANIES MY DEPRESSION AND THAT IS WORKING, I HAVE LESS PAIN THAN I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME, BUT THE HEADACHE IS THERE, IT HAS HOWEVER LET UP AT TIMES LATELY, SO I AM HOPEFUL THAT IT WILL GO AWAY. I THOUGHT MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE HAD SOME EXPERIENCE WITH IT.
This my first time to join the discussion, I am currently taking cymbalta 30mg daily, has anyone else had any experience with it, I have had a headache for several days, I don't see it listed as a side effect. I am feeling better as far as depression and anxiety, but this headache is getting the best of me.
